The AP118 raised concrete mount anchor point is suitable for fall arrest and rope access use on ballast/aggregate roofs.

The AP118 raised concrete mount anchor is designed and manufactured in accordance with requirements of AS/NZS 1891.4:2009, AS/NZS ISO 22846 and AS/NZS 5532:2013

Testing

Testing and performance based on AS/NZS 1891.4:2009

• Dynamic load test 15kN

• Static load test – 15kN

Requires proof load test – see note below.

Product Warranty

10 years from the date of purchase subject to correct installation. Use and maintenance to be in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and recommendations.

Inspection & maintenance

Inspection and certification required every 12 months by competent person in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and requirements of Australian Standards AS/NZS ISO 22846 and AS/NZS 1891.4:2009 (section 9).

Rope access use: tensile load test to 6.0kN

Fall arrest use: tensile load test to 7.5kN

Important notes

• Minimum thickness of concrete – 150mm. Anchor requires proof load testing prior to use as per AS/NZS1891.4:2009. Device is for personnel use only.

• AP118.200 is not suitable for rope access use.

• Failure to supply and/or install proprietary product in accordance with above standards and codes, specifications and installation/usage guidelines voids complete system certification and/or warranty
