The SP396 skylight protectors are lightweight, high-strength aluminium protection to cover skylights for personnel safety on the roof.

• For large protruding skylights, framed for high strength.

• Available in multiple standard or custom sizes

Substructure requirements

Support structure integrity, suitability and fixing method to be assessed and determined by a competent person prior to installation.

Not designed to take trafficable loads: 200kg limit

Compliance

Skylight protectors are designed to comply with relevant statutory WHS codes of practice and guidelines.

Testing

Tested to 500kg for 3 minutes utilising a stainless steel clip and a structural rivet.

Product Warranty

10 years from the date of purchase, subject to correct installation. Use and maintenance are to be in accordance withthe manufacturer's specifications and recommendations. (This excludes wearing parts).

Inspection & maintenance

Visual inspection for any damage or loose fixings must be done periodically and before use. No certified maintenance required. Basic wear/ tear preventative maintenance is recommended, as per the manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations.
